Ventage limited was founded in the Mid 1970s as a design and consultancy business specialising in the field of heat transfer equipment to the petro-chemical and allied industries. The founding directors were all previously employed in the petro-chemical industries working for oil companies, engineering contractors and equipment fabricators and so over the years the company has benefited from a wealth of experience and knowledge from all sectors of the petro-chemical industry.
Ventage Limited provides design and consultancy services for the process/thermal design of shell & tube heat exchangers, Air fin coolers and pressure vessels for projects including: oil refineries, chemical plants (Nitric Acid, Sulphuric Acid, Phosphoric Acid etc.), power stations, pharmaceutical plants, L.N.G plants and offshore installations (production rigs, F.P.S.Os etc.).
Equipment designed by Ventage is present on installations around the world including North Sea (UK and Norway), Western Australia including Timor Sea, Brazil, Canada and West Africa. This equipment has encompassed a variety of heat exchanger types, chemical services and design conditions, including tube-side design pressures of up to 400 bar(g).
All equipment is designed “in-house” using the HTRI and/or Aspen-Tech H.T.F.S programs, depending on the client’s preference.
Ventage Limited is experienced in producing designs in a variety of materials including Titanium, Duplex Stainless Steel, Hastelloy, Tantanlum, Low Alloy Steels, Cupronickel, Copper, Stainless Steel (304, 316 etc.) and Carbon Steel.
